Cameron Nutting Williams, regional publisher and chief revenue officer of Ogden Newspapers, has been named to the board of directors of the America's Newspapers Foundation.

Williams, a former president of America's Newspapers, said: "I am thrilled to continue to serve the news media industry through the America's Newspapers Foundation. Just like our businesses, we need to ensure that the programs supporting our members are built sustainably for the long-term. The creation and funding of the America's Newspapers Foundation is critical to making that happen."

The mission of the America's Newspapers Foundation is to support and promote initiatives for local newspapers. The initiatives provide needed training, assets and best practices to newspaper owners, managers and staffs, helping to ensure that newspapers remain a vital part of their local communities.

From training programs that build skills to industry research and promotion, the America's Newspapers Foundation supports programs to advance the newspaper industry. Donations to the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax deductible and go directly to programs that support local newspapers.

Among the programs sponsored by the Foundation is the 2024-25 Executive Development Program, which kicks off on Tuesday in New Orleans. Learn more here about this program.
